It is reported that Samsung's Xi 'an Phase II plant will have a monthly production capacity of about 130,000 tablets, and the first phase will have a monthly production capacity of about 120,000 tablets, accounting for about half of Samsung's total NAND production capacity in 2020.

The Samsung memory chip project was settled in Xi 'an High-tech Zone in 2012. The first phase of the project was completed and put into production in May 2014, with a total investment of $10.8 billion. The Samsung memory chip project and packaging and testing project were completed. The second phase of the project will involve a total investment of US $15 billion, mainly to manufacture flash memory chips, and will be carried out in two phases. The second phase will invest $8 billion.

Among them, the phase-one production line of the second phase was rolled off the production line in March last year, and mass production was realized in August. The phase-two production line was officially launched on December 25, 2019, and equipment installation began in March this year.
